Piggy Bank Slot
This slot by 1x2 has a real fun theme – pigs robbing a bank. There are pig robbers, a pig policeman, a pig convict and a pig with a spanner. There are also pig onlookers who I’m guessing were inside the bank when the robbery was ongoing. The only symbols in the game that are not actually pigs are the wanted poster (which features a picture of a pig), the piggy bank (shaped like a pig) and the safe (which the pig with the spanner will presumably be trying to open!).
This slot has the feel of a children’s television show, set against the backdrop of a colourful country scene with clouds moving across the sky. Fans of the popular series Peppa Pig will find many similarities to the series at this slot, none so more than the house sitting to the left of the reels. The accompanying sound to the slot works well – you’ll hear birds tweeting, plus the occasional sound of a farmyard animal, alongside an effective boing sound greeting each spin. The feature of this slot is the free spins round which is activated by the slot’s scatter symbol. Set up and Play for Piggy Bank Slot
The Piggy Bank slot is a pretty standard five reel slot, each reel showing three symbols. This slot has just nine win lines, which is smaller than the majority of slots, but this does mean that you get more spins for your money, which is never a bad thing. You will actually be able to play less than the nine win lines – choosing any number between one and nine. You’ll also choose the number of coins you are playing for and the coin value to give you a total cost for each spin. Find out more about how slots work here.
To gain a win at this slot you’ll need to land consecutive symbols from left to right on a win line, starting with the leftmost reel. You’ll need to land three in a row for the majority of symbols, but the top four at the slot will also pay out for landing just two. These top four symbols are headed by the wanted poster (featuring a pig’s face with the words ‘fried or grilled’ underneath) which pays 750x your coin amount when landing 5 in a row. The safe is next at 500x, followed by the bank robber and the policeman, paying out 300x and 100x respectively. The other symbols in the game pay out between 80x and 20x for five in a row. This 1x2 slot has to be commended for the fact that there are no playing card symbols here, which are a feature at the vast majority of slots.
Options at this slot include an auto bet button where you can set the slot to run for up to 100 spins without interruption (during which you could perhaps go and tuck into a bacon sandwich?). You’ll also find a volume button and a show win-lines button which will superimpose all of the win lines over the top of the slot.
The wild symbol at this slot is the piggy bank and this will substitute for any other symbol to give you additional wins.
The final symbol in the game is the free spins one, this being a scatter symbol. Land this symbol three or more times across any of the reels to activate the free spins round.
Piggy Bank Slot Free Spins Feature
The number of free spins you receive in this round is based upon the number of scatter symbols landed to activate the feature. Land three ‘free spins’ symbols and you’ll gain 5 spins, land it 4 times and you’ll have 10 spins and the maximum 5 five times gives you 15 spins. As an added bonus in this round, any wins you receive will be doubled, this due to the 2x multiplier.
Piggy Bank Slot – Conclusion
If you’re the type of person who enjoys a straightforward slot without too many large bonus games interrupting the game, then this slot will appeal. The slot has a fun element and the wins are regular (as you’ll receive a pay-out for just landing two of some of the symbols) which will attract many players. It would be fair to say that this isn’t a slot that will particularly grab you and keep you playing long term, however for the odd twenty minutes this might be perfect.
