Bingo VIP Club Review

The phrase VIP has different connotations for different people. And it largely depends on your view of celebrity culture as to which side of the fence(s) you fall on. For some, the idea of turning up to a red carpeted affair, champagne waiting just beyond the stuffed leather and oak doors, is paradise. They can’t wait to pass through those dark wooden gates, and find themselves surrounded by the rich and powerful, if not great and good, of this world

Others will probably wince at the very idea, more comfortable in an understated pub or bar, than the kind of gaudy, crystal chandelier-heavy venue that would come as standard with the invite-only crowd. Thankfully, for those in the latter demographic, there’s not actually that much VIP about Bingo VIP Club. Sure, it carries with it the letters, VIP, and when the home screen first loads up you’ll be confronted with a rather basic graphic displaying a red carpet with red-roped barriers.

Beyond all that, in some distant place that you’ll never really see, we can see a light shining so brightly it would put even the biggest pop stars to shame. Indeed, you can almost imagine the paparazzi readying their cameras to each side, entertainment journalists steadying the mic, and waiting to ask those all-important questions about some divorce, or what designed you’re wearing.

Image Problem

The problem is, the whole things looks pretty tacky, if not as though some ten year old learnt basic coding and thought, “I’m going to make the homepage to a bingo website.” Even the fonts could so easily be classy-ed up a little if they were just, well, less curved. Not quite Comic Sans level of offense, nevertheless it doesn’t exactly scream, “You’re on the inside now.” Perhaps it’s all a big irony, but if that is the case, far from being lost on us, it’s just not actually that funny. At all. Quite the opposite, in fact; the impression is of a website that desperately needs something more, not to mention a little modernisation.

Still, at least it states its intentions perfectly. This is all about having fun, and fun is evidently pretty easy to have. The most pronounced thing on the page is the £15 casino bonus, which basically means you can play for nothing when you first join. Below this, there’s a winners table showing how much people have managed to bag in cash money. Cash money being gambler’s slang for fun, of course. Next door, you’ll see another panel showing the top slot games available on rotation. And next to that a click through link taking you directly to the ‘specials’- great offers and promotions that will hopefully make us all forgive the lazy design decisions mentioned above. Bingo… That’s Why You’re Here

In all honesty, reviewing bingo sites is not the most essential use of anyone’s time. The majority are pretty similar when all is said and done. However, there are some differences that you start to note if you spend long enough doing this job. And we have. On the whole, and in comparison to the biggest sinners, irrespective of Bingo VIP Club’s garish look, it’s already winning in terms of points scored over competitors. If there’s one area that Bingo VIP Club actually does do very well in it’s the promos, and the way the promos are presented to you. These are a lot more generous than most we have seen, and also there are a lot more of them. Interestingly, it doesn’t openly discuss any VIP offers – as in a loyalty scheme – which many gambling websites do, and we can only assume this is to avoid giving away the fact that Bingo VIP Club isn’t actually a VIP Club of any kind.

There is also provision here for mobile players, and it lives up to what you would hope and expect- with full responsive web support for mobiles and tablets. Then again, we’re not in 2013 anymore, so you would expect this from even the smallest websites. Still, it’s amazing how many seem to forget.

Roll out the Red Carpet

Overall then, Bingo VIP Club is pretty average, but lots of fun. The bingo games themselves are good and compelling, and there are plenty of them to choose from at any one time. The slots aren’t as much of a let down as we have seen elsewhere- with a decent sized selection. Meanwhile, scratch games are also a nice little addition that you don’t always find elsewhere. Add to this mobile provision, and things begin to look up, especially when you take into account the plentiful options for contacting the site owners and managers – you can email, chat online, call, or even raise a ticket which they will respond directly on.
