One of our good friends was once asked “If you were a biscuit, what biscuit would you be?” In many ways, the idea of asking it is like handing someone a loaded gun and waiting until they assassinate their own character. What would you pick? something understated but reliable, or the kind of over the top, overly-expensive, not-many-in-a-pack variety you’d get from more luxurious grocery shops?
In the end, after much deliberation and a few more beers, he chimed in with ‘Digestive’. An average guy who doesn’t really like too much attention. Just someone who wants to be there for everyone when they really need a brew and snack.
The folk behind Biscuit Bingo clearly agree with at least one thing we have said above. Although they have opted for what appears to be a chocolate chip cookie for the main logo, this is diving head first into a cup of something that we assume is supposed to be either tea or coffee. The biscuit itself is rather crudely drawn, too, but rounded enough to suggest this isn’t an artisan product, but rather a – excuse the pun –cookie cutter, production line variant of which thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, roll off the machines ever day.
In keeping with this no-nonsense idea, the website leave you under no illusions as to what is in store. Below the branding- which is surrounded by information pertaining to the offer you are entitled to redeem if you sign up- is a table immediately showing the types of bingo you can play, and the winnings available. You can also immediately click through from here to start the balls rolling, as it were, which although not exactly the be all and end all, is far better than the majority of sites, which make you click and click, and click, to try and find any sign of what may be in store through the proverbial door, and into the hallowed members areas.
Below all that there’s more, too. A row of thumbnails offers some idea of the range of slots that are available to play, and finally a load of information – in, it has to be said, rather off-putting sized and style font – gives you the lowdown on the overall website, the online play option (as oppose to a download requirement) and the free bingo, no deposit system that is there to try and tempt you into a first game. Not bad at all, let’s take a closer look and see if the taste test proves as good as the look.
You’d be pretty disappointed to find that a bingo website didn’t offer a lot of different types of bingo. Even if it is called Biscuit Bingo, and most of the packets of biscuits you will buy are all going to contain just one variety of biscuit.
Thankfully, then, there are no such restrictions on Biscuit Bingo players. You can pick different numbers of balls in the game, and these will obviously have an impact on how much you can win, but also how many people can play at once. Sadly, when we tested the site out there weren’t as many different numbers on offer as perhaps you might hope for, but we have also seen other domains where – despite specialising in bingo – there are no options at all. As such hats off for understanding people like choice.
The quality if bingo on offer is actually very good. The games are slick to play, the prize money plentiful enough to make you forget and forgive such sins as not having 30 ball bingo games ready to play. It’s not the best quality we have ever seen, mind, but really you can’t complain that much at all.
As we have already deduced thanks to the use of, as Hercule Poirot would put it, ‘le little grey cells’, there isn’t just bingo on offer here. Click on slots to learn exactly how many distractions are part of Biscuit Bingo’s offering. This is where it gets a bit surprising. And perhaps a little jarring too.
There are certainly enough slots to go at for a bit, although this could never be described as a slots site, nor a bingo site with exceptional slots on offer. The standard of the slots os OK, nothing groundbreaking, and you could potentially exhaust the range in under ten visits. Nevertheless, there’s more to this section than the name ‘Slots’ would suggest – Casino being the operative word. Or at least one of them.
By clicking on this area of the website you will immediately see that there are games of roulette, blackjack, kenote, and aces available. Sadly poker is notable by its absence, which is a huge oversight given it’s probably the most popular of all the online casino games. Still, this isn’t bad as a little bonus section. On top of this, there are scratch games available which, like slots, offer instant fun and a temporary high if you actually win- that will fade pretty quickly as the winnings aren’t that high.
Finally, there’s what they call Freebets, which basically means you can gamble without putting anything down on the table- just for kicks really. Oh, and there’s a Jackpots area, but this is currently unpopulated, so we can only assume this is going to be filled up in the near future. Otherwise, developers- please, please get rid of this option, it’s pointless.
People often say that money makes the world go round. We happily have to disagree – promotions and offers on gambling sites, which help you win more money, are what really makes the online betting world go round. Biscuit Bingo certainly has some decent ones available, although sadly, like the lack of poker in the casino area, there is another huge oversight here.

We don’t want to have to click through to another page to get the gist of what an offer or promotion entails. It should be there in black and white, or at least crystal clear English (or whatever language the website is using to communicate with members). Still, this aside, there are some nice promos being given out, although it’s hardly going to change what you expect from online gambling websites.
Much like a good biscuit, Biscuit Bingo starts off very well indeed- tasty, you might say. Sadly, though, the fun is relatively shortlived, and that’s where it really will lose out points compared with others on the market. There simply are not enough individual games of any kind to keep you coming back again and again, and again, which is ultimately what any online casino or bingo website developers are looking to achieve. There’s plenty of quality here, and we quite like the look and feel of things – it’s basic but not off-putting. Nevertheless, there’s a lack of every aspect that will always render this one average.
