Ray Gunn Versus Galex E. Greed Slot

Are you ready to be a space hero? Of course you are. Who the hell isn’t? Ray Gunn versus Galex E. Greed is as thrilling and action packed a slot as you're likely to find anywhere in the galaxy. Or the next.

This story behind this game is a true interstellar epic. Basically, there’s an evil lightspeed-travelling demigod called, Galex E Greed, and while we’re not sure if it’s a planet-destroying weapon or just general Mars-based misdemeanours he’s up to, you have to stop him in his tracks.

Thankfully, you’re not actually you – someone on a computer – you’re Ray Gunn, the amusing titled saviour of the piece. The mission is less dangerous than it sounds, too. You can save Earth using five slots, all with a weird alien theme (it's basically all weird alien faces and strange moons), which will keep you on your toes and flying high throughout this game's duration.

Ray Gunn Versus Galex E Greed, by Gamesys, has some excellent design points, you feel like you're in a sci-fi movie as you play, which is always fun. I mean, it's like driving your own spaceship. Online. Which is great, especially when you consider the rather tired look of many comparable slots.

Spaceman

The look and feel of this is definitely what makes it – again, you're caught up in a sci-fi world from the moment you enter, and it makes the game, on the whole, a lot more entertaining than many sci-fi movies you can probably think of.

Visually, then, the game is very strong, we can all agree on that, and it's likely that you'll enjoy this no matter what age and background you're from. It's a little tacky, perhaps, but it works given the context.

Better yet, though, it’s as fun as it is good to look at. The principle is that you're flying a spaceship and beating a bad guy, while trying to win some cash. If that's not the definition of “winning”, then someone should probably change the definition, immediately. On top of that, the game seems to be really easy to understand, and should challenge the hero out of just about every regular slot gamer.

To Infinity...

Taking flight on this one should be very simple. To start things off, you have to decide the level of funds that you want to put into the machine. As is standard on this type of game, you can increase or decrease the coin size amount by clicking the - and + keys and then select all the coins you want to bet. There are 25 lines available, so this game gives you plenty of options and ways to increase your chances of a bonus.

Once you're ready to save the world from the snug comfort of your desk chair, coffee in hand, press to spin and prepare to listen to an oddly effective jingle. When it happens, you’ll know. Now wait to see what the future holds for you as you kick into hyperdrive.

If you line-up anywhere between two to five symbols (the 9s seems to be particularly generous) along any of the paylines available, then you'll pick up some decent money.

Master of the Universe

There are nine weird and wonderful symbols in total on this five reel slot – the letter (and number) symbols (K, 10 ,J ,9 ), as well as Ray's face, Galex's face, a couple of creepy creatures definitely not of this world, and a bonus, Scatter symbol, which is pretty difficult to describe but easy to recognise- kind of like the badge for a future space agency.

Obviously, these symbols further add to the sci-fi theme and create the illusion that you're in control of your intergalactic destiny. But, more importantly, the latter can trigger the additional opportunities to win bigger than Jupiter via the bonus game, if you land three or more.

The Element of Surprise

Back to the battle at hand, then. Ray Gun and Galex E. Greed face off against each other- in a manner of speaking- when bonus mode is activated. During this game, the bad guy shoots his symbols at our screen, and these must be turned into winning Wild cards which are then converted into lovely, lovely money.

Ray-Se Your Game

This slot machine provides a dose of not-too-serious slot action, where the gamer can take control and create some exciting opportunities without having loads of prior knowledge, or tonnes of experience.

It's, fun and easy and will have you wanting to go back to your own personal Millennium Falcon, over and over again.
