Right On The Race Track
Auto Show is all about car racing, and as such it will come as no surprise that the whole game is set right on a racetrack.
The reels were even made transparent to give players a better view of the action! In the background, the winding track goes far away in the distance. You will not find that many details, but the broad view of the road will probably be enough to evoke powerful memories for real racing fans.
The whole game screen is also shaped like a cockpit, with aerodynamic shapes and rounded buttons all over. The result is a modern and sleek game that will put you right at the heart of the action, despite (or thanks to) its simplicity.
Start Your Engine
Now that we are comfortably seated, it is time to figure out how to drive our slot machine all the way to the jackpot.
Auto Show is based on a classic 5 reel 20 payline set, which will be a familiar environment for most players with a little experience with slot games. You will be invited to use the (+) and (-) buttons located at the bottom of the screen to modify your wager, that is to say the amount of your bet and the number of paylines you wish to activate. You may also use the side tabs that flank the reels in order to adjust your payline settings. Use the Bet Max button to activate all paylines in one click.
Once you are satisfied with your settings, click on the Spin button to validate your wager and let the reels spin loose. Winning combination of symbols trigger a cash reward when they appear on an activated payline, paying from left to right. If you are lucky, you will score many of them! All nine basic symbols in Auto Show are directly inspired by a world of fast cars and excitement, which furthers the players’ immersion into the game universe.
The first four icons represent car accessories such as a Speed-o-meter, Keys, a GPS and a Tire. These symbols will appear frequently on the reels, but are not worth a lot.
The next five icons are all beautiful cards, coming in Purple, Yellow, Turquoise, Blue and Green. They might be rarer on the reels, but the cash prizes they trigger steadily increase in value as we go up in the menu. For instance, the Green sports car awards a x10,000 reward for a five-of-a-kind winning combination on a payline you bet on!
Final Special Vehicles
You will frequently see a few other symbols spinning around in Auto Show, bringing in a few extra surprises to the game.
The Yellow Jeep, for example, is the Wild card in our game. It can replace all basic symbols and randomly multiplies the line pay-out by two, five or ten.
The Pink car is the Scatter, triggering rewards in the form of Multipliers for the total bet, regardless of its position on the reels. Three Scatters bring a x5 Multiplier, four trigger a x20 Bonus and five… x500!
Last but not least, the Red card is also there to act as a Bonus icon. Three of them on an activated payline start the Bonus round; pick auto parts in the garage to collect Multipliers, which will be applied to your total bet in the end.
A Sports Car Fan’s Delight
Auto Show goes all-in for the racing car theme. As such, and as with thematic games, it will be a great hit for fans of the genre but will have a hard time convincing players who are not particularly interested in cars.
