Further collaboration
1xBet, the 2018 winner of SBC’s Rising Star in Sports Betting Innovation award, has announced new collaborations with football teams in the UK Premiership. These latest deals have been secured with Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC.
The news follows a separate announcement of another high-profile partnership with FC Barcelona at the beginning of this month.
The new deals range from between three and five seasons, and promise exclusive offers and sporting entertainment for club fans. The betting company will feature prominently throughout stadium and promotional branding at both Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC.
Liverpool FC to reach global fan base
1xBet has chosen to partner with one of the Premiership League’s oldest clubs, Liverpool FC, which was founded in 1892.
Liverpool FC plan to use this sponsorship on their digital branding to increase awareness and allow fans to better interact and engage with the world of football.
Billy Hogan, managing director and chief commercial officer of Liverpool FC, said they are “delighted” to have their newest partner on board. He added that, as they look to inaugurate the 2019/2020 season, “I am sure that their games and special offers will appeal to our fans around the world.”
Chelsea FC will hold competition
Based in London, Chelsea FC are set to benefit from three seasons of support as they give the title of official betting partner to 1xBet.
Alex Sommers, spokesman of 1xBet, said they were honored to team up with “such a great football club”.
“We guarantee that Chelsea fans will see a variety of interesting and engaging activities from the partnership over the next three years.”
To celebrate the launch of the partnership, 1xBet will be running a new competition named ‘Guess the Score’ throughout the 2019/20 season.
1xBet’s rapid development
Comments from Chelsea on the partnership said they were happy to pair up with the Curacao-based betting company, thanks to the rapid growth it has seen in the sector since its launch to the market in 2007.
While 1xBet is more well known in the Eastern European market, its recent links with Barcelona and the existing sponsorship with Tottenham Hotspur indicate that football is a key way forward for the developing company.
