Founding partner of Allegiant Stadium
MGM Resorts International and the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders have announced an exciting new partnership.
Mandalay Bay will be the official home for pregame and postgame parties when the Raiders play
The league’s first franchise in Las Vegas has named MGM as an official gaming partner. Mandalay Bay will be the official home for pregame and postgame parties when the Raiders play. The resort company has also become a founding partner of the new team’s home, Allegiant Stadium.
Details of new deal
This new partnership will see MGM Resorts’ logo prominently displayed in and around the new Allegiant Stadium. The signage will remain in place year-round and will include in-stadium branding. The west VIP entry and drop-off zones naming rights go to MGM as well.
The deal also includes the MGM Club, a special space at the stadium offering an exclusive experience. Visitors will have access to a full-service bar and luxury lounge, along with upgraded seating. MGM will plan fan experiences that will take place before and after Raiders games within their casino resorts.
MGM Resorts Chairman and CEO Jim Murren commented on the new partnership by stating that Las Vegas is quickly becoming a top global destination for sports and the partnership with the raiders is a natural fit. Murren said that MGM is looking forward to
creating unique and world-class entertainment experiences for our guests and Raiders fans.”
Community outreach programs
A main factor of the new partnership is that both MGM Resorts and the Raiders plan on working in the community together via outreach programs. The goal is to help the community in the Southern Nevada region.
The volunteers sent the kits to the local nonprofit U.S. Vets organization. The group provides employment services to veterans, including finding transition as well as permanent housing.
Other NFL partnership deals
The Raiders and MGM Resorts are not the only new partnership involving an NFL team to take place recently. Back in December, the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers announced a deal with Pechanga Resort Casino.
The two NFL teams have named the operator as their official California casino partner. Pechanga Resort Casino is also the official casino partner of the SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park stadium development. The resort will be heavily featured within the new SoFi Stadium, set to open in July 2020.
