Official sports betting partner
WynnBET has become an official sports betting partner of National Football League (NFL) franchise the New York Jets. The sportsbook operator announced the multi-year deal on September 14 via Twitter:
Through this agreement, the mobile sports betting app from hospitality giant Wynn Resorts will host the WynnBET Green Room at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for the Jets’ home games. This 4,800-square-foot adults-only ticketed space includes a sportsbook where Jets fans can avail themselves of live WynnBET wagering content.
one of the “most innovative and forward-thinking operators” in the legal sports betting market
Jets vice president of business development and ventures Jeff Fernandez said in a news release that WynnBET is one of the “most innovative and forward-thinking operators” in the legal sports betting market. He added that Wynn is a premium brand whose “overall high touch experience […] fits perfectly into the aura of the Green Room.”
The operator will also get presenting partnership of live pre- and post-game shows starring NFL insiders and Big Blue greats on the Jets’ New York TV channel SportsNet.
Top of the pods
WynnBET’s deal with the NFL franchise also grants it presenting partner rights on the Jets’ podcast network. The operator will expand its digital audio reach via The Official Jets Podcast, in which co-hosts team reporter Eric Allen and former Jets defensive end Leger Douzable discuss the Big Blue’s news and views.
The New Jersey-based sportsbook will also feature on the new Jets Game Preview pod, where the franchise’s reporter Ethan Greenberg and NFL analytics expert Cynthia Frelund explore the upcoming Jets game in depth.
Fernandez said he expects fans of the team to enjoy “the compelling new content” on the Jets’ podcast universe.
Consolidating its New Jersey roots
Inking a multi-year partnership with the New York Jets consolidates WynnBET’s roots in the New Jersey community while extending its NFL brand reach. Last month, WynnBET became an approved sportsbook operator of the NFL, which grants it access to exclusive NFL media inventory and data.
The sportsbook is currently live in Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee, Virginia, and most recently Arizona. Legal sports betting in Arizona launched on September 9 after a judge rejected a tribe’s last-minute injunction request.
