The stars of the show
Not many entertainment platforms are as popular as Twitch. The Amazon-owned live-streaming service rakes in thousands of viewers each day watching anything from League of Legends gameplay to cooking videos and online slots.
VegasSlotsOnline News has taken a look at five of the most promising Twitch streamers to watch out for in 2023.
1. KaiCenat
Despite what some might think, not all Twitch streamers are die-hard, forever-sweaty gamers. In fact, many content creators that have garnered massive success on the live-streaming platform have raked in views by doing other things.
started posting prank and comedy videos on YouTube back in 2018
Twitch streamer KaiCenat first started posting prank and comedy videos on YouTube back in 2018 before joining the YouTube group AMP (Any Means Possible). Later, he shifted to Twitch and began streaming gameplay and reaction content.
Though he’s had his fair share of controversy (including getting temporarily banned by Twitch in January 2023), he still became the most subscribed streamer on Twitch in October 2022. At the time of writing, he ranks fourth worldwide for most followers gained in the past 30 days.
2. xQc
There are some big names out there in the streaming world, but many of them burn fast and fizzle out. This definitely isn’t the case for streaming mastermind xQc.
Boasting an impressive 11.6 million followers on Twitch, xQc has been an icon for many years after becoming a successful variety streamer back in 2019. Formerly a professional Overwatch player, Felix “xQc” Lengyel pulls in some of the most views on the entire platform. In February of 2023, he’s sitting at number 11 for the highest peak viewership of all English Twitch channels.
His honest and bold personality has landed him in hot water a few times, but he’s still established himself as one of the platform’s most hilarious and entertaining creators. He was also a huge proponent of gambling content on Twitch before unregulated online casinos were banned, supposedly raking in millions of dollars:
Often streaming Grand Theft Auto, variety games, and reaction content, not many streamers are as iconic as xQc.
3. Tarik
Not everyone is encouraged to pursue professional gaming as a career, something unfortunately the case for Twitch streamer Tarik. However, that didn’t deter him from streaming his gameplay, and he now boasts 2.5 million followers on the live-streaming site.
aggressive and talented gameplay
Formerly a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) player, Tarik Celik’s passion for esports first brought him to Twitch under the username “NoShirtTV.” His aggressive and talented gameplay complemented his hilarious content and set him up to become a mighty name in the gaming world.
In 2021, he moved on to stream the first-person-shooter game VALORANT and later became a creator for Sentinels. Even now, he ranks eighth for most-watch English streamer on Twitch and 12th for highest peak viewership.
4. AdinRoss
22-year-old Twitch streamer AdinRoss (Adin David Ross) also has immense success on YouTube. Rising to stardom with NBA 2K20 and GTA5 live streams, his recent content has become much more impressive and unique.
His popular streams often featured his sister or even LeBron James’ son Bronny James. Though he’s been banned a couple of times, he kept coming back, even to interview controversial reality TV star and kickboxer Andrew Tate. But that’s not all – his streams have even featured famous rappers like Lil Yachty, Sheck Wes, and Lil Tecca.
AdinRoss never ceases to come out with jarring and immense content
In the past, he’s wagered loads of money in the game NBA 2k and even went viral when he had a hot tub stream with Twitch creator Corinna Kopf. When it comes down to it, AdinRoss never ceases to come out with jarring and immense content, which is why he’s still climbing the charts in 2023.
5. Pokimane
When we say “Twitch,” one of the first icons to pop into everyone’s head is Pokimane. The face of Twitch itself, Pokimane became one of the most prevalent figures on the site and still stands as the most-followed female content creator on the platform.
Creating her Twitch account back in 2013, Pokimane (Imane Anys) started her venture streaming League of Legends and then later Fortnite. She boasts multiple YouTube channels and has embarked on plenty of other creative endeavors. In September 2022, she called on Twitch to ban gambling after some major controversies were exposed on the site:
She’s established herself as a beacon for many female streamers and is still one of the site’s most popular and entertaining streamers. For an exceptional streamer to watch in 2023, you can always rely on Pokimane.
