Live streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat has received yet another ban on Twitch, marking his fifth ban from the platform. The native New Yorker holds the record as the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time, hitting the benchmark in February during a month-long subscription marathon.

Contributing to the mystified reaction on Twitter, Twitch has given no official reason for KaiCenat’s latest ban. Twitter user Ray Vikernes, however, believes the ban is because Kai Cenat “got sent shoes from a rival streaming service and showed them on stream.”

livestreamed himself gleefully receiving a gift of Nike Air Force 1s from Kick

Kai Cenat did indeed recently livestream himself gleefully receiving a gift of Nike Air Force 1s from Kick. The reaction prompted many to predict that Kai Cenat could be tempted to join the Stake-backed streaming platform. Now he has received yet another ban, calls for him to join Kick have only increased.

However, there are also other theories suggested for his ban. Kai Cenat did a stream on April 15, crashing a motorcycle into his setup. With Twitch known for being antsy about risky driving, many fans believe this is the true reason behind the ban.

Another theory, put forward by Twitter user @ot_alonzo, is that Twitch axed Kai Cenat for watching controversial fellow live streamer Adin Ross. Ross, like Trainwreck and GMHikaru, has already made the switch from Twitch to Kick, which is increasingly seen as a Mecca for controversial streamers.
