Europe’s first integrated resort will open this summer in Cyprus. Melco Resorts & Entertainment announced on Friday that the City of Dreams Mediterranean resort will start welcoming people on July 10.
In its statement, the resort’s general manager Grant Johnson said that this project is “poised to revolutionise the island’s tourism and hospitality sectors.” The property cost about €550m ($600m) to develop.
The property’s casino will have the usual selection of slot machines and table games, as well as a poker area. VIP players will be able to access a member’s only gaming area. In addition to the extensive gambling options, City of Dreams will have eight restaurants, entertainment facilities, and the largest expo center in Cyprus. The hotel will contain 500 rooms and suites.
