The retail Yahoo! Sportsbook features a large LED video wall that allows patrons to watch as many as 40 games at the same time. Other televisions are located around the facility, with plenty of seating space, food and beverage options, as well as a bar.
Commenting on Thursday’s opening, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas CEO and President Patrick Nichols said: “We wanted to create the best place on the Strip to watch sports.” Yahoo Sports President Ryan Spoon believes the new sportsbook is another step in the company’s journey to better engage sports fans with fun experiences.
Yahoo Sports is the second most popular fantasy sports platform in the US, only behind ESPN.
