Newcastle United has struck a multi-year partnership deal to make online sportsbook and iGaming operator BetMGM an official 2023-2024 season club partner. With the agreement, the operator’s branding will be visible to fans at the English Premier League side’s stadium and to those watching on television.
BetMGM has its UK office in the city
Newcastle United Chief Commercial Officer Peter Silverstone noted that BetMGM has its UK office in the city, so it already understands the people in the region.
BetMGM UK Director Sam Behar said that the company is proud to be an official betting partner for the club, mentioning that the “team’s ambition and drive perfectly align with our growth strategy and we can’t wait to get started.”
Newcastle already has a couple other betting-related partnerships, including one that makes Fun88 its official Asian betting partner and another with Sportsbet.io.
BetMGM is a joint venture between Entain and MGM Resorts International; the brand launched in the UK market for the first time in August.
