Police in the East Yorkshire town of Kingston Upon Hull are appealing to the public for help in apprehending a criminal gang after foiling an attempted casino break-in.
Humberside Police took to X on Tuesday with its appeal for witnesses, CCTV, and dashcam footage:
Officers from the police department disrupted three men at around 4:30am Tuesday after they had used an electric power tool to gain entry to Merkur Slots casino.

The Mail said “nothing was reported stolen” from the casino on Endike Lane. It is one of the 200+ UK gaming venues owned by Merkur Group UK, a subsidiary of Germany gambling giant the Gauselmann Group.
