In March 2022, content creator Trainwreck made the VegasSlotsOnline News headlines by breaking the world record for the largest ever non-jackpot online slot win. Now, Roshtein has just blown that record out of the water, while also smashing the record for overall slot win in the process.
Roshtein, real name Ishmael Swartz, was playing Drac’s Stacks by Massive Studios when he landed the mouth-watering amount of $28,539,000 from a $10,000 stake. The Swede was streaming live to his Kick followers when he sealed the win, celebrating in typical Roshtein fashion:
The former world record for biggest non-jackpot online slot win was held by Trainwreck, real name Tyler Niknam. He landed a $22.5m win on Might of Ra while streaming on Twitch.
an unnamed Belgian player held the record for largest online slot win of all time
Meanwhile, an unnamed Belgian player held the record for largest online slot win of all time at $23.4m on Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah. Unlike Trainwreck and Roshtein, he staked just $18.30 before hitting the jackpot.
In land-based gaming, the slot records are even higher. A Los Angeles player secured the record for this in 2003 after hitting a jackpot of $39.7m while playing at the Excalibur Casino in Las Vegas. He spent just $100 on the Megabucks slot machine beforehand.
Roshtein was playing Drac’s Stacks on Stake, the crypto casino site that first launched Kick and has deals with the majority of its gambling stars. Many have questioned if streamers such as Roshtein are using real money – an issue on which some streamers have publicly argued.
