VegasSlotsOnline News caught up with Indigo Magic to find out a little more about the supplier.

Bragg Gaming’s Europe-based studio Indigo Magic is already making waves in the online slot space. The company has now released several exciting games, with themes ranging from golf to Ancient Egypt and everything inbetween.

VegasSlotsOnline News caught up with Christoffer Melldén, Commercial Director of Content for Bragg, to find out a little more about Indigo Magic and what it has lined up for 2024.

Indigo Magic says that it produces “superior casino content” for European and American markets. Can you tell us how you remain at the top in such a competitive industry?

Indigo Magic is a young studio having only been established in 2022, however, it is being managed and content is being created by a team with extensive iGaming industry experience, most notably Deane Hendricks, who joined Bragg to oversee the studio having previously working in the industry with companies including Playtech, NetEnt, and GameArt. With all of this experience in the team and in its leadership, as you can imagine there is no shortage of new ideas, interesting concepts, and innovations to explore. The challenge is however, can your technology keep up with a dynamic market, as well as the innovations and ideas of the talented developers building these games?

we have taken our place with many other well-established brands

For Bragg, the answer is yes. While a relative newcomer, we have invested significant resources into making sure that we can develop those ideas and innovations being put forward quickly so they can be enjoyed by players. This in turn has enabled Indigo Magic to quickly grow in recognition amongst players, meaning we have taken our place with many other well-established brands.

Do you have to tailor your content to European players in comparison to US ones, or do players in both markets expect the same from their games?

This is a very interesting question, and one that is being addressed internally at Bragg regularly. We know that players in the US and Canada typically prefer a higher line count and with that a higher entry bet.

They tend to dislike super-high-volatility games with a lower hit frequency, an approach that is well established in Europe through the extremely popular book mechanics.

We at Bragg customise our mathematical models following the player preferences above and release two different versions into the markets. If you played one of our games in Europe and then played one in the US, it would be a very different experience.

Your games benefit from technology provided by Bragg’s in-house teams. What are some of the best bits of tech we can see in your games?

As I mentioned above, one of the core items in game development, or any development for that matter, is the scalability and agility of the technology. We are extremely proud to have been able to grow the technology within our proprietary games from having nothing to having a product that can compete with all other game providers on the market in little more than six months. Our game client is one of the best parts any of our players will see, recognize and be able to enjoy!

Which of your new games should our readers try next?

One of our fan-favorites is Bad Bass, a game designed with the UK market in mind, but one which has grown globally, and is currently one of the most popular games within the Indigo Magic games portfolio. This one is certainly worth a try when you spot it in the lobby.

Finally, what are your plans for the rest of 2024?

The rest of 2024 promises to be very exciting for players of Indigo Magic slots, beginning with the two very powerful titles for release in July and August.

  1. Almighty Hera

Almighty Hera truly embodies the modern gaming experience. The game offers a lot of randomness even during the base game, where Hera might grant you a random benefit such as an increased amount of a specific symbol, stacked wilds or a win multiplier. However, things really take off in the bonus game. With a minimum of 15 (and up to 30) free games, the player is granted a permanent feature throughout the free games. If they are lucky, they might even win two features, including an increased number of symbols, stacked wilds, chunky multipliers, or even a massive jackpot!

  • Golden Gal’s

Golden Gal’s might just be the hero Summer of 2024 needs! With its farm-style art and explosive features with growing multipliers for each reel, wins can come very quickly and make the wins truly explosive. But we did not stop there and introduced a hold & respin feature in which the player will receive up to five respins until all of them are missed to build out their payouts. To make this task easier, we’ve added collectors that collect all visible coins and free up the real estate, and of course our popular Pop N’ Split mechanic that may randomly split any position into four parts, take their highest value and add it four times over.

We’ve got so much more coming over the rest of the year, not only in slots, but in instant win and crash games as well.
