Meta has provided clarification about its new approach to the promotion of real money gambling, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and alcohol. Stakeholders expressed some confusion when Meta announced that companies in Latin America, Asia Pacific, and India would be able to begin advertising these types of products on WhatsApp beginning August 27.
