Kick streamer Bestfriend took to X with video footage of the mob’s Saturday morning takeover of the store, which a Los Angeles Police Department watch commander confirmed as occurring 1:40am Saturday:

The video reveals the members of the mob, which ABC7 reported was 30 to 50 strong, were mostly wearing hoods or face coverings. One section shows a smiling looter holding energy drinks while lapping up the congratulations from some of the large crowd gathered on the busy street in San Pedro.

The LAPD also fielded reports of a possible street takeover, with cars doing donuts at intersections drawing spectators to the store’s vicinity.

While energy drinks were among the general goods stolen, the line item looted with the biggest value was the lottery tickets. The mob also absconded with two cash registers holding around $5,000.

Smoking, meanwhile, seems to be on the decline in L.A., as only $1,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen.

According to the ABC7, the crowd dispersed before police arrived and no arrests have been made.
