A man threatened to burn down the Mill Casino in Oregon after getting fired. William Sherrill allegedly sent text messages to his previous employer in July saying that he would “burn that place to the ground” and that he was getting close to becoming a terrorist.

According to The Oregonian, the federal complaint against Sherrill says that the 32-year-old lost his job in June for other threats he made against staff members at the casino. Police arrested him and he remains in the SeaTac federal detention center in Washington. Sherrill’s case will be moved to the US District Court in Eugene, Oregon.
