Hard Rock Bet has a monopoly over the sports betting sector in Florida, but it is open to partnering with other operators like FanDuel and DraftKings if the right opportunity arises.

Speaking at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, Hard Rock International CEO Jim Allen, disclosed that some conversations had already occurred regarding this type of collaboration.

He said Hard Rock has built a “great relationship” with FanDuel and DraftKings and the company recognizes the long-term value of strategic agreements with the country’s two biggest sports betting operators.

While Hard Rock Bet doesn’t have to publicly disclose its betting handle and revenues, the Florida market is a big one, as it is the country’s most populous state with legal online betting.

FanDuel CEO Amy Howe recently mentioned that the Sunshine State is one of the super-states the company was still looking to enter. The Flutter Entertainment-owned company previously tried to get an open sports betting market in Florida before the state signed a 30-year compact with the Seminole Tribe.
