Kick streamer Adin Ross backed the winning candidate for the 47th presidency of the US and earned himself a tidy $600,000 profit.
On Monday, Ross revealed that he placed a $1m wager on former US President Donald Trump returning to power. Via X, Ross shared his bet stating he “knew” the candidate standing against Kamala Harris was “gonna secure it for America”:
As the champagne was uncorked in the Trump camp following his victory, Ross also took to X with a clip of UFC President Dana White alongside the new president giving the Kick influencer a shout out for his contribution to returning the Republican to presidency. In response to White’s acknowledgement, Ross stated: “Appreciate the love brother.”
In June, White appeared on the “Flagrant” podcast with comedian Andrew Schulz in which the UFC CEO described Ross as a “hardcore” gambler.
White referenced a Las Vegas Power Slap event in which Ross was down $750,000 but ended up winning $1.5m, stating the streamer “put huge money on the casino table for such a young kid.”
penchant for a big bet fueled by the confidence of youth shows no signs of dimming
While Ross is now 24, it seems his penchant for a big bet fueled by the confidence of youth shows no signs of dimming. His $600,000 profit on Stake backing the winning US president came from a $1m wager Ross made in October when the odds of Trump winning were 4/6.
After making his $1m bet, Ross also promised he will give ten people who liked his “gonna secure it for America” post on X $1,000 each from his profits, to celebrate Trump’s win.
