Netflix is stepping into the world of live sports streaming, signing on to broadcast two NFL games on Christmas Day, paying $150m to do so. Back-to-back Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Baltimore Ravens face the Houston Texans.
Flutter Entertainment CEO Peter Jackson revealed during a Q3 earnings call that FanDuel will be the official sportsbook partner of the broadcasts, saying, “We’ll be delighted to deliver our exciting product for Americans to get behind on Christmas Day.”
