Netflix is stepping into the world of live sports streaming, signing on to broadcast two NFL games on Christmas Day, paying $150m to do so. Back-to-back Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Baltimore Ravens face the Houston Texans.

Flutter Entertainment CEO Peter Jackson revealed during a Q3 earnings call that FanDuel will be the official sportsbook partner of the broadcasts, saying, “We’ll be delighted to deliver our exciting product for Americans to get behind on Christmas Day.”

The Flutter-owned brand is the current US sports betting market leader, accounting for 43% of the sector’s total net gaming revenue during the most recent quarter.
