Barry Manilow has accepted a “lifetime residency” at the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
The renowned crooner has just concluded a farewell tour across the US and will now settle down at his long-term Las Vegas HQ, where he has over 630 shows under his belt.
David Siegel, Westgate Founder & Executive Chairman, said: “Barry Manilow is a generational artist and a dear friend. Over the years, we have built a personal and professional relationship that is truly special, and I am honored to offer Barry the opportunity to perform at Westgate for a lifetime.”
Manilow has been performing residency dates at the 1,582-capacity International Theater at Westgate since 2018, breaking Elvis Presley’s previous record of 636 shows, and already has more penciled in for 2025.
I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to call Westgate home for the rest of my career”
“It’s been an incredible journey performing at the International Theater,” Manilow said in the announcement. “David Siegel and the Westgate team have been like family to me, and I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to call Westgate home for the rest of my career.”
Although the singer will now only be playing at Westgate when in Las Vegas, the success of his recent tour may leave open the possibility of dates elsewhere. After receiving multiple rave reviews, there remains speculation over further tours and festival dates outside of his new home.
