Popular live-streamer Adin Ross was at the Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas over the weekend after interviewing UFC fighter Islam Makhachev when he decided to give cash to random people. He approached a couple on the gaming floor and gave them $2,000:

The woman was visibly shocked at the gesture, saying that Ross had no idea how much they needed the money as she was out of work and her mother was in intensive care. He then decided to go back and give her another $6,000, approaching her while she was playing a slot machine.

Ross said that he was trying to inspire other people to do nice things

Explaining why he was giving away the money, Ross said that he was trying to inspire other people to do nice things.

Adin Ross is one of the most controversial streamers on the internet. Known for stoking the flames of white male, right-wing grievance culture to a young audience, Ross has platformed neo-Nazis, cozied up to arch-misogynist and accused rapist and sex trafficker Andrew Tate, and has shown porn on his stream. He was permanently banned from Twitch in February 2023, moving to Kick, which was started by the founders of crypto casino Stake.

Ross later decided to get more money and arrange for security to escort the couple out of the casino safely. The woman opened up about how they were foster parents and that their last foster child’s name was Adin.
