As the wildfires rage across Southern California, one Las Vegas casino has offered to help house horses displaced by the disaster. The Plaza Hotel & Casino has more than 75 uncovered stalls in its CORE Arena, and the full-service equestrian center can accommodate their needs.

The adjacent dirt arena means owners can work out their animals every day if they wish, with complimentary water facilities and feed available at the property. The CORE Arena usually hosts rodeos and monster truck shows.

Plaza Hotel & Casino CEO Jonathan Jossel said in a statement that the downtown property wanted to support owners with limited rehoming opportunities, giving them time to rebuild following California’s “devastating” wildfires.

Anyone wishing to use this service can contact the CORE Arena, and they must display a valid California ID.
