The creator of the massively popular crash game Aviator has entered into a partnership with the UFC and WWE. Spribe’s multi-year agreement will see Aviator branding appear on Octagon canvases during fights and at certain WWE events.
They will initially collaborate on providing exclusive experiences to fans and running social media marketing campaigns. This could extend to cross-promotion with fighters or wrestlers down the line.
total wagers on the game exceeding $14bn in December
One of Spribe’s big goals with this partnership is to gain more of a foothold in the US. It has already garnered much success across Europe, Brazil, and India, with its monthly active user count reportedly surpassing 42 million and total wagers on the game exceeding $14bn in December.
The game rose to prominence in recent years, in part thanks to many prominent gambling streamers on platforms like Kick and YouTube showcasing its gameplay. This isn’t the company’s first partnership with a globally renowned sporting organization. Spribe struck a deal last year with Italian soccer giant AC Milan to become the team’s official crash game.
Talking about the new partnership with the UFC and WWE, Spribe Founder and CEO David Natroshvili explained that it’s a long-term play and not one focused on short-term return on investment.
