The stage is set for Super Bowl LIX. The Kansas City Chiefs have secured their place against the Philadelphia Eagles for the game scheduled for February 9 in New Orleans.

Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs sealed their place in the final on Sunday in an exciting game against the Buffalo Bills. It was a defensive masterclass from Chiefs Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo which resulted in the ultimate 32-29 win for Kansas.

wagered $1.3m on the Chiefs at odds of -130

One Caesars Sports bettor was particularly excited about the result. According to the sportsbook, a customer wagered $1.3m on the Chiefs at odds of -130 before the game. That means when the final whistle blew, they took home a cool $1m for their troubles.

VegasInsider reporter shared the news on X:

Current sportsbook odds for Super Bowl LIX have the Chiefs as favorites at odds of -125, while the Eagles are a longer shot at +105. It’s a rematch of Super Bowl 57, when the Chiefs came out on top in a 38-35 result thanks to a game-winning field goal by Harrison Butker.

If they win Super Bowl LIX it would be the Chiefs’ third consecutive victory in the game. They beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in 2024 to seal up the 2023 season. The win came in overtime.
