Tipico to Continue as Bundesliga Sponsor

Germany’s market leading offline and online sportsbook Tipico has inked an extension to its partnership with the European country’s elite soccer league, the Bundesliga. 

Under the new contract, Tipico has secured official partner status for both the Bundesliga and its second tier for another ten years culminating in Germany’s 2027-28 domestic soccer season.

deal opens up new routes to market

While the deal means Tipico retains exclusive advertising rights to the Bundesliga, the expanded deal opens up new routes to market for the German gaming juggernaut. Under the refreshed deal, Tipico can now use the logos for both Bundesliga divisions in its ads, while both leagues will “integrate” the sportsbook’s branding into its digital output. 

Tipico’s Director of Sports Kajetan Strini-Brown stated that the visibility sponsorship brings “plays an important role in guiding customers to the legal market.”

Bundesliga International’s Director of Commercial Partnerships Tobias Thöne, meanwhile, said his organization was “thrilled” to extend the contract. 

“Over the years, Tipico has proven itself as a highly professional and reliable partner with a deep passion for football,” Thöne stated.
