All in a name?
With a name like Zapri Outlaw, many marks may have thought twice about entering into any dealings with the exotically monikered Las Vegas sex worker.
feds accused Outlaw of kidnapping
Unfortunately for one unnamed victim, reports KLAS, Outlaw’s name didn’t ring any alarm bells. Now, however, the feds have accused Outlaw of kidnapping the victim she met in a Vegas Strip club and stealing almost $300,000 in cryptocurrency from him.
Outlaw faces a kidnapping charge and conspiracy to commit robbery for the November incident. Police arrested the indignant Outlaw last week.
Vagina for sale
According to court documents cited by various trustworthy US media houses, Outlaw told arresting officers that while “she [sells] her vagina” she didn’t do anything wrong. The testimony of her victim, however, says differently.
Outlaw allegedly met the dupe at a Sin City nightclub in November. The victim, who said he was only visiting Las Vegas, stated “he was possibly drugged,” but police haven’t corroborated his story.
one of the kidnappers armed with a gun
The victim agreed to drive with Outlaw and others in an SUV to his accommodation in Summerville. Instead, allegedly, Outlaw and her group drove the victim to a parking lot a block away, where one of the kidnappers armed with a gun ordered the victim out of the SUV.
It was then that the victim initially noticed his wallet, phone, and watch were gone. The fleeced man later discovered multiple unsanctioned transactions on his credit card and nearly $300,000 missing from his cryptocurrency account.
Lone outlaw?
While there are multiple others involved in the kidnapping named as suspects with active warrants for their arrests prior to the incident, Outlaw is the sole person the feds charged.
Outlaw posted the $10,000 bond set by Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Daniel Westmeyer and is expected back in court in April.
