Grand Slam Track is an exciting new global track circuit featuring some of the biggest stars from the recent Olympics, such as Gabby Thomas and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. Legendary sprinter Michael Johnson is heading up the league, and he believes that embracing gambling can help expose people to the new format.

Stats Perform will be its global betting stats and data partner

Grand Slam Track has announced that Stats Perform will be its global betting stats and data partner. The AI-focused company already has partnerships with major sports organizations like the English Premier League.

According to Grand Slam Track President Steve Gera, betting on track events isn’t very popular due to the lack of notable events in the calendar rather than a lack of interest. He noted that major sportsbooks experienced significant action during last year’s Paris Olympics.

Stats Perform will look after the licensing of race data to sportsbooks and media partners, as well as betting integrity and educating both athletes and staff on relevant regulations.

The first Grand Slam Track events will take place April 4-6 in Jamaica. They will differ from other meets in that only one race will occur at a time rather than several simultaneously. The prize purse will also be larger, with race winners getting $100,000.
