Poker pro Doug Polk has revealed on social media that he has received a ban from the streaming platform Twitch. Polk, who has total live earnings of more than $10.5m, was banned for just one day after supposedly “promoting dice and roulette streams.”

Polk revealed the news on X on Wednesday:

Twitch takes a firm stance on gambling content ever since banning unregulated gambling content in November 2022. This forced top gambling streamers Roshtein, Xposed, and Trainwreckstv to move to Kick, a streaming platform kickstarted by crypto casino Stake.

I will break your f*cking teeth if you come step to me and I will feed ‘em to you anally.”

Daniel Negreanu, another top poker pro with more than $55m in live earnings, commented on Polk’s status, highlighting his own lifetime ban from Twitch. The ban resulted from an outburst by Negreanu after someone in his chat insulted his wife. The poker pro responded: “I will break your f*cking teeth if you come step to me and I will feed ‘em to you anally.”

In responds to Negreanu’s comment on his ban news, Polk described his fellow pro’s outburst as “an epic rant indeed,” adding: “Might need to work this into my content in the near future.”
