DraftKings Sportsbook took in more bets on the March Madness finale between Florida and Houston than any other college basketball game in history. The Gators won by two points in the big game to round out an exciting tournament.

It wasn’t a great March Madness overall for major sportsbooks like DraftKings and FanDuel due to a strong run of results for favorites. Florida was the number one seed before the tournament began, while the strongly-tipped UConn won the women’s final on Sunday.
Before the start of March Madness, the American Gaming Association (AGA) estimated that traditional operators would handle about $3.1bn for the entire event.
