The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) has suspended 2006 world champion Graham Dott indefinitely after the Scottish native was charged over historic sex offenses.

another charge relates to the abuse of a boy between 2006 and 2010

The 47-year-old allegedly abused a girl in Glasgow between 1993 and 1996, and another charge relates to the abuse of a boy between 2006 and 2010. The children were reportedly about ten years old and seven years old at the time, respectively.

Dott’s next court hearing is on June 11 in Glasgow, and his WPBSA suspension means he will no longer be partaking in this week’s World Championship second round qualifiers unless he successfully appeals the decision.
