The online poker tables in Pennsylvania are about to get busier, as licensed platforms will soon be able to share traffic with New Jersey, Michigan, Nevada, West Virginia, and Delaware. On Wednesday, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro signed the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA).

can integrate their offerings from April 28 onwards

This means that regulated poker sites like BetMGM and WSOP Online can integrate their offerings from April 28 onwards. This will increase the prize potential for tournaments and allow Pennsylvanians to have a better selection of games and stake sizes. BetMGM is the only poker room to this point that has officially announced it will combine its player traffic on Monday.

About 150,000 people in the state play poker online, and Pennsylvania is the largest member of MSIGA.

Talking about the new agreement, Governor Shapiro said that it was common sense and will help ensure Pennsylvania stays competitive in the “rapidly growing market.” Three of the six neighboring states are already part of MSIGA.
