“Your lucky star” is the motto of Slbet, one which doesn't make much sense but which at least corresponds to the green star that constitutes the site's logo. Slbet is a reasonable looking sportsbook and online casino, one that certainly doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary but which is just about passable for the purposes of sports betting. It offers a good range of sports at least, covering everything from basketball to water polo as well as Australian rules football and specialist categories such as Eurovision.
Likewise when it comes to the casino games, where you will find a good range of slots from various developers available plus live casino games and virtual sports where you can bet on computer generated teams in a manner that proves very similar to betting on real sports. The site is available in around 20 languages in all and provides an uncomplicated one-stop shop at which you can bet on anything that takes your fancy pretty much.
Slbet is operated by a company who hail from Sofia in Bulgaria named GLB GMBH EOOD. This might seem like an odd name for a gaming company or indeed for any company, but that's what they’ve chosen to call themselves. In fairness, most companies who operate in the gaming sector don't have the most memorable names, possibly because they're not interested in promoting their brand but rather the name of the site itself. In that respect it must be said that Slbet does not fare particularly well either for it has a curious name that isn't memorable in any way.
The operator of the site have numerous other sportsbooks and online casinos to their name, all of which provide the same games and the same average quality of service. There is no About page to be found here and there is little to suggest that the operators of the site are interested in creating any semblance of a community at which players might wish to spend vast amounts of time. Slbet holds a gaming licence that originates in Curacao and speaks about offering 24-hour customer support but your only means of doing so is by completing the contact submission form on the website.
Among the many ways in which Slbet could use some work is when it comes to providing information on deposits and withdrawals. There is some information available in the Help section of the site however where you will find a small FAQ. It only provides information on Paysafecard for some reason that is never satisfactorily explained on this site or on any of the sites elsewhere operated by this company.
The information pertaining to paysafecard explains that you can top up using this popular form of prepaid card which comes in Euro denominations that start at 10 and go all the way up to 100. There is no information about other deposit methods, despite the footer of the website showing logos from MasterCard, Visa, Neteller, Skrill and Paysafecard. Presumably all of these options can be used to make deposits as well. There is more information provided about Withdrawals and it would appear that you can withdraw funds into a bank account with the minimum withdrawal set at 30 Euros. However it isn't satisfactorily explained what your withdrawal options are other than bank transfer.
One of the strangest things about Slbet is that there is no Promotions page on the site or on any of this company’s sister sites. Try searching everywhere for some semblance of a welcome bonus however and you will find one that is lurking within the FAQ of the site, which is very strange. Moreover, the welcome bonus is explained solely via terms and conditions. In other words, the legal basis for it is explained but there's nothing here that might actually incentivise you into wanting to sign up and claim it.
For the record, there is a 100% first deposit match for the sportsbook available up to a maximum of 100 Euros. Deposit a minimum of €10 to claim this offer. There is a certain wagering requirement before these funds can be withdrawn. There also appears to be a parlay bonus which again is only found in the FAQ of the site. The maximum reward you will receive is 30% for correctly predicting the outcome of 15 games. The starting point is four teams, which provides just 1%, rising to 10% once you reach nine games.
By default, football is the sport that enjoys the most coverage at Slbet. The featured image on the sportsbook pertains to forthcoming English Premiership games while other major games that can be wagered on are shown in the right hand sidebar. You will find some additional sports such as basketball once you go further down the page and, in a long list on the left-hand side of the page, you’ll find numerous other sports on which Slbet offers odds aside from baseball and cricket.
A second page of the site is devoted solely to live betting but when you click on it you will likely be presented by a pop-up urging you to install Flash Player. The Chrome browser doesn't support Flash by default anymore because generally this is seen as less stable and less desirable than HTML5. If you can get the site to work in your browser however then you'll be able to make use of the live betting service. If not, you’ll have to use the regular sportsbook to place your bets in advance rather than wagering on the specific outcome of what happens on a minute by minute basis within the games.
If you've played at any other sites operated by this company, the casino lobby will look depressingly familiar. There are some decent games here however although it is something of a mixed bag as some of the developers here aren’t the greatest. Many of the games that feature by default on the homepage don't look good at all. Sure, you can play games such as Super Hot, Eternal Desire and Arabian Dream but in terms of features and graphics there isn't a lot going on here. Things get better once you get to the sorts of slots offered by Microgaming or net NetEnt. Games such as Hellboy, Hitman and Irish Eyes are far more pleasing to behold. There are also a few decent games by EGT and by Endorphina which vary in terms of quality.
Slbet is a mediocre site, one which doesn't really have any clear thrust or direction. In other words, it is unclear who this site is really marketed at and it is unclear why you might want to sign up here over the various other sportsbooks and casinos on the web, many of which look way better. The games, slots especially, are mediocre, although the sportsbook certainly functions, even if the live betting facility is unfortunately reliant on Flash. Slbet then is an average site at best. It will do the job, but there are much better options out there on the web.
