Chain Beat Slot Review

If you are into the club scene, but your favorite place isn’t open right now, check out our Chain Beat slot review to relive some of the thrills of a night out. The game was released by the Japan-based EIBIC, which isn’t the best-known developer in the world, but this up-and-coming studio looks to make a big impression with this title.

Chain Beat has a classic five-reel, 30-payline format and features free games with symbol upgrades. The gameplay is quite basic, which will appeal if you like the simple pleasures of spinning reels to line up winning combinations. But if you are looking for multiple bonus rounds, then the Chain Beat slots game is perhaps not for you.

Read our review, then get ready to spin the decks of the Chain Beat slot at online and mobile casinos that carry the EIBIC range.

Welcome to the Club

Colorful speakers flank the reels of the Chain Beat slots game. And while they look like they are pumping out a loud, upbeat tune, the actual soundtrack plays out calming, trance-style music. Typical slot machine sounds accompany each spin of the reels, and you’ll hear a jingle whenever you land a winning combination.

The artwork in the Chain Beat slot machine is relatively basic, although you will see one or two flourishes in the design. Lower-value playing card symbols are pixelated to make them look like a light show at a club. The dark blue reels also appear in this same blocky style.

Higher-paying symbols consist of headphones and a purple record deck, along with BAR and red 7 icons. These last two feature speakers as part of the design, enhancing the slot’s theme. You’ll also notice a nice piece of design when the cherries symbol appears. Most classic slots feature cherries, but in the Chain Beat slots game, the fruits are replaced by two speakers attached to stalks.

Betting to the Beat

All 30 paylines of the Chain Beat online slot are active, so you can’t play just a few of them. The game has a bet level for just about everyone, starting from just 0.30 per spin. You can raise the number of coins and the value of each coin to the maximum to play with stakes of up to 300.00.

The control panel of the Chain Beat slots game is easy to use and comes with a couple of options. You can activate between ten and 500 automatic spins, and there is a Turbo mode that’s useful if you want to get to the results of a spin in the least possible time.

You win in the tried-and-tested way by matching three or more symbols across a payline from the left side. The 10, J, and Q symbols pay up to 100x your line bet, while the reward for five-of-a-kind combinations with K and A symbols amounts to 200x.

Record decks and headphones pay up to 500x the stake per line. The BAR and 7 only pay maximum awards of 30x and 120x the line stake respectively, but our Chain Beat slot review will soon reveal a good reason for this.

We played the game on a desktop PC, an Android mobile device, and an iOS smartphone. All EIBIC slots use HTML5 technology for seamless gameplay across all of these platforms.

Before launch, independent test labs reviewed the Chain Beat slot and certified it as fair and reliable. That said, the declared RTP of 94.11% is a little below the 95%+ that we like to see. We found that the high volatility meant that winning spins tended to be relatively rare, with the eventual prizes being higher than average.

Find the Trigger Symbols

Although the cherries pay tiny prizes of just 1x, 2x, or 3x the line stake when landing on three, four, or all five reels, it means that you will tend to see them almost all the time. This is good news, as any three or more cherries on a line will trigger the Chain Beat online slots free spins round.

The bad news is that you only receive an initial single free spin. The reason for the BAR and 7 symbols paying small prizes is that they appear quite frequently. If you win with the cherries, BAR, or 7 symbol in this spin, another free game is added on, and this continues for the next spin. For a fourth, fifth, or sixth free spin, you will need four-of-a-kind combinations of one of these three symbols.

The seventh to the twelfth free rounds play out if you have five matching cherries, BAR, or 7s in each spin. Getting extra spins isn’t as difficult as it seems, as the free games take place on a new set of reels, with more triggering symbols added to the mix.

In spins five to seven, a symbol upgrade feature sees all cherries turned into BAR icons. In the eighth to the thirteenth spin, the BAR upgrades to the 7. The free spins round in the Chain Beat slots game is one that our reviewers found slightly complicated, but certainly refreshing. It will hold your full attention if extra games are added on and symbols upgrade for higher payouts.

More Slots With a Beat

Chain Beat is far from the only online slot based around the contemporary music scene. Hardwell, from Stakelogic, stars the famous Dutch DJ of the same name. Neon-effect fruit symbols, stacks of speakers, and mixing desks appear over this five-reel, 25-line slot. Special features include free games where you can find a win-both-ways format, win multipliers, and symbols upgraded to extra wilds.

The DJ Wild video slot from Elk Studios features fruit symbols, decks, headphones, and keyboards over five reels and ten paylines. It features a win-both-ways format and expanding wild symbols, plus respins with a Jackpot Wild giving you the chance to claim the top prize.

A Simple Game With a Unique Feature

Although the graphics and animations of the Chain Beat online slot are quite straightforward, this is still a game with plenty to recommend about it.

The easy gameplay accompanied by trance music gives this slot a very chilled vibe. A wide bet range will help to attract casual players and high rollers alike, although the high volatility might put off gamblers who like to see plenty of winning combinations appearing. And you don’t have to be into clubbing to enjoy spinning its reels. If you don’t like the music, hit the mute button on your PC or mobile.

Our reviewers found that the Chain Beat slot machine isn’t easy to find at online gambling sites, but you can play it for real money wins at our top-rated casinos shown below.
