Unique symbols used in the game include nautilus shells, jellyfish, clownfish, angelfish, hermit crabs, octopi, turtles and dolphins, with the aforementioned mermaid acting as a free games scatter symbol, a seahorse triggering a bonus race game, a clam activating a pick-and-click feature and a starfish being the game’s substitute wild. All in all, it’s certainly a pretty consistent line-up of icons.
Beyond that impressive selection of symbols, Mermaid’s Pearl is also beautifully animated and features an underwater background depicting clear seas and coloured coral.
