The Real King Aloha Hawaii Slots

Some games have some sort of an aura of mystery around them. Some games that require players to do a little exploring on their own to familiarise themselves with the universe associated with the slot machine.

And there are other games whose name basically says it all. The Real King Aloha Hawaii belongs to that second category.

So what makes this Novomatic creation special, besides its mouthful of a name? Let’s find out now.

Sea, Bets And Sun

The universe of The Real King Aloha Hawaii (which we will call from now on just Aloha Hawaii) is obviously focussed on the eponymous US state and the only King that really ever mattered: Elvis. As such, it is aesthetically reminiscent of long, white sands beaches, palm trees and lots of sunshine.

The backdrop of the game represents precisely that: a tropical beach under a bright sun, with additional colourful flowers and an overall feel of long, relaxed holiday tanning by the ocean. The music matches with notes of ukulele and hand drums and other appropriate sound effects as the game progresses. All and all very relaxing and pleasant.

This all makes Aloha Hawaii a slot game with modern graphic features such as 3D slot machine symbols and a detailed universe that any player, new or veteran, will certainly appreciate greatly.

Tropical Paradise

The game allows you to play on 5 spinning reels and with a maximum of 10 paylines. You can select the number of payline on which you would like to bet by using the (+) and (-) buttons right at the bottom of the game screen. Repeat the same procedure to determine the amount of your wager, and you are good to go!

The Start button will let the reels spin and stop, with a pause for you to decide whether to collect your wins, if any, or to Gamble them. If you choose to do so, you will be taken to a separate screen with an Elvis-themed card deck (thank you very much): your goal is to guess the colour, either black or red, of the top card. A correct guess will double your wins, but any mistake means you will lose them all.

Another way to play is to use the Autoplay feature in order to let the reels spin loose over and over again, while you just sit back and enjoy the sound of the ukulele – and of your newly acquired slot coins piling up!

Meet The King Of Rock ‘N Roll

Besides the pretty background and the nice music, players are interested in one thing: the reels, and the symbols on them. There are 13 of them in Aloha Hawaii, and they all fit well in the general game universe thanks to their colours and design.

The first six symbols on the paytable are the least valuable and among the most common in slot machine games. Starting with a number 9 and going up all the way to the Ace, the classic card-inspired symbols were redesigned for the occasion with colourful and somehow “tropical” fonts.

The rest of the paytable is composed of items you would naturally expect to find in Hawaii whilst on holiday. We begin with a Flower Wreath resting on a giant leaf, followed by two distinct kinds of Tropical Flowers, a Ukulele and a set of Hand Drums, a bright Sunset scene and finally the King himself, in all his glory.

Island Hospitality

We should probably look a little closer at the gameplay and more specifically at the two last symbols. The basic rules are simple: winning combinations appearing on active paylines will trigger a win – and some combos start paying with as little as two identical symbols lined up! Pretty standard so far.

Things get more interesting when you know that the Elvis symbol also acts as a Wild card, substituting any other basic icon and multiplying the gains by two in the process!

The Sunset symbol also has a secret: a Scatter function, meaning that as little as two Sunsets anywhere on the reels can make you a winner! Any Scatter combo of three or more will also award you 15 Free Spins, during which all prizes are multiplied by three automatically. As many reasons for you to consider a Hawaiian vacation in the near future.

Stay For The Tremendous Wins

The Real King Aloha Hawaii is a classic Novomatic game in terms of basic gameplay and setup, which means that many players will instinctively know how to play – while newcomers will wrap their heads around the commands quite fast as well.

The attention put into the design and of course, the fun special symbols and Free Spins make it a great game, with an overall relaxed atmosphere. Who knows, you may be able to pick up a no deposit bonus to try it in real cash mode at no risk.
