BetPack Review

Sometimes you really don’t need bells, whistles, things that all sing, or stuff that all dances. Especially when you’re talking about trying to win money online. BetPack is definitely a case in point. When the website first loads up you might feel slightly disheartened. Clearly the product of some work, it’s also clearly the product of a different era. Things haven’t been updated aesthetically in a while, but then this calls into mind the old saying ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’. Nothing here is broken, and nothing here looks like it will break any time soon.

In fact, the obvious age of the website actually works in its favour- whoever is responsible for development has clearly focussed on filling each section with plenty, rather than letting things get on top of them whilst they were knee deep in code to try and get some snazzy animation in there. Rather than this, there’s simple pages and pages of stuff to dig in and start betting on, which is definitely all good with us.

BetPack Boast

It’s borderline overwhelming when you first arrive at the URL. To the left of the homepage you’ll see a panel boasting what is clearly the main offering here – sports betting. And what an offering it appears to be. We’ll go into this in a little more details further down this review, but let’s just say that fans of everything from English Premiere League football to American NBA basketball will not be disappointed here.

Across the top of the screen there’s another series of menus to click on, and this is when you being to realise just how expansive the whole thing is. We’ll be treating these individually, but for now think Sport, Virtuals, Casino, Games, Live Dealer... you probably get the point so best if everyone on this side of the coin tries to contain their excitement. Sorry, that might not be possible- it’s really one of the most complete online casino websites we’ve come across in quite some time. And that’s saying something considering we’re scouring these domains every day.

Enough Hype, Let’s Get to It

Probably best to begin with what seems to be, at first glance anyway, the main selling point of BetPack. Click on the Sports option at the top of the screen and you’ll immediately be taken through to what we like to call Sports Central. It’s not an official term, but hopefully goes some way to convincing you of just how much is here. The main part of the main screen in this area of the website is dominated by the daily Programme of Events. So that means you can see all the latest games that are taking place right now- that’s now as in when you take a look, not now as in the moment we did the research for this review. You also get to see how long is left in the games, and also the standard odds for a home win.

You can, of course, bet further into the future, and not every game can fit on this table at once, so you’ll need to use the panel on the left hand side to choose which disciplines you want to start wagering on. The list is enormous, and covers pretty much everything you can think of aside from Shove Ha’penney (amazingly once televised by ITV Yorkshire back in the 1980) and shuffleboard- perhaps getting live updates on the heated contests that take place on cruise ship decks every day is asking a bit much.

Still, we’re not complaining (obviously). There’s horse racing, greyhounds, cricket, golf, darts, boxing, baseball, NFL football, rugby league and union, tennis, hurling, snooker, motorsports, ice hockey and a fair few more. You can even choose commentary services for some, adding to the feeling that this is a very professional, and professionally organised website to say the least.

What’s the Casino about Then?

Fair question, and it deserves a decent answer. The Casino area is, as it sounds, where you’ll be able to bet on casino games. This includes classics like slots- whcih come in three and five reel, and progressive varieties; not to mention video poker, sports poker, and other games.

As we mentioned before, there’s an entire section here dedicated to Virtuals, and this is basically virtual sports. When we tested the site this area worked particularly well in comparison to so many others we have come across- you even get a screen within screen showing Pro Evolution-style highlights of the games the system is generating. It’s unclear who is really going to bet on virtual sports when there are so many real sports to go at, although clearly there are some hours of the day when no sports are actually taking place anywhere in the world, or no sports of significance, and as such this part of the website basically means 24-7 sports gambling action.

Live Stuff

There is also both a Live Casino and Live Dealer section of the website- accessed through the top of the screen row of menus. If you’ve never really used an online casino website before then this is basically where you can join in live roulettes with other players, or live blackjack and baccarat (Casino), or even more live action with a real life dealer facilitating those games (Dealer), rather than virtual dealers.

Is there anything else to know about? Well, in a word, ‘yes’. In two words, ‘yes, plenty’. So much, in fact, that we really can’t fit it all in here. As such it’s best if we cut to what, for most, will be the clincher – the promotions. This area is a little hidden away down at the very bottom of the homepage. Click on it, though, and you’ll wonder why they haven’t made it more prominent. There are some great offers and deals available to all members, some of which focus on specific sports at specific times. For example, horse racing fans can get their teeth into a Second Chance Refund when things don’t go their way, or you can get money back on football bets.

There are also introductory offers for new members, tempting you to sign up (as if the overall quality if this website wasn’t enough), and the list could go on much longer. Not only is there plenty to the site in terms of what you can bet on, then, but there’s plenty of deals when compared with other website, adding to the reasons why our conclusion, which follows this section of the review, is quite clearly going to be glowing in recommendations.

BetPack Conclusion

Sorry, we should probably have put a spoiler alert in front of that last sentence. Too late now, the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, and the cat says BetPack is a quality product. We love the massive variety on offer, combining both bookkeepers and casino. The way the site works is incredibly functional, and during our time testing this domain we didn’t spot a single bug. Which is amazing. Not a glitch.

Add to all this the number of promotions you’ll find here – far and away the most we have come across in the last couple of weeks, and there’s really very little more that needs to be added. Perhaps not the newest, nevertheless it looks so much more professional even when compared with newer sites, and this means the pro online gamblers out there will be in their element, whilst amateurs and newcomers won’t feel out of depth either.
