Bet on Poker

Depending on your perspective, you might use a lot of different words to describe the poker tables found in many casinos around the world. They can be lucrative, or dangerous, thrilling, or dull. A lot of this depends on just how well you know the game, and how skilled you are at turning your cards into a winning hand.

But what if you could get all the excitement of poker without having to know the first thing about bluffs or strategy? That’s the concept behind Bet on Poker, a fixed-odds betting game from InBet. You’ll find all the same action that has made Texas Hold’em so popular online, in brick-and-mortar casinos, and on television. But rather than playing hands yourself, you’ll be gambling on the outcome of the hands: on everything from who will win to what the top hand will be.

Ante Up

Bet on Poker is a game that runs on a fixed schedule. Each round of play takes about a minute to work through, including another minute between hands for players to review their results before the next game starts. That means you can’t speed up or slow down the action: you, and everyone else who is playing, will be seeing the same cards at the same time.

The layout of the game features three different tables. Each hosts a different number of automated “players:” four, six, and eight respectively. At the start of each hand, each player will get two cards that you can see. Beneath these cards, you’ll also see the odds you can get if you bet on that hand to win the hand. These are expressed in decimal format, and include the amount of your bet that you’ll win back: in other words, a payout of 2.00 is the same as getting even money, or 1-1 odds on your bet.

Alongside each table you’ll also see a chart that includes all of the possible hand types that could potential win on that table. These range from the lowly high card through one and two pair, three of a kind, straights, flushes, full houses, and so on. Much like the players themselves, you can also bet on what the winning hand will be from this list. In all cases, the payouts are dynamically generated to account for the cards in their hands – both the player and winning hand payouts are based on the real probabilities based on what has already been revealed.

Flop, Turn, River

Players are free to make any of these bets during the preflop round. After placing chips, hitting the “add to coupon” button will get those bets registered. You can also put combine all of your bets into one parlay that will only pay out if all wagers win by hitting the “express” button. Once bets have been made, other players also participating in the game will be able to see how much has been wagered on each option.

Once the time limit is up, the play will begin, with the action taking in the same way as any game of Texas Hold’em. First, the three flop community cards will be dealt. At this point, you’ll have another minute to make new bets if you’d like. You’ll see all new odds calculated for all of the wagers that are available. Some may also be listed as n/a – if these outcomes are either impossible or extremely likely, no further betting will be allowed on them.

After the time for that round runs out, you’ll see the turn card revealed on each table. You’ll have one more chance to make your bets, after which the final river card will be revealed. At this point, a winning hand will be determined at each table. If any of your bets are winnings, they will be paid out, and you’ll have time to review the results. After that, new cards will be dealt out, and the process will begin again with a whole new hand.

Going All-In

Bet on Poker is a game that does something that many developers have trouble with: it combines simple gameplay with enough complexity in the action to keep things interesting for players. While anyone can jump in and start betting on this game without feeling like they’re making any silly mistakes – the odds are always fair, so it is more a matter of how much risk you want to take rather than making smart or bad bets – but there’s enough options to give players plenty to think about.

Throw in the fact that this title does a great job of replicating the drama and tension of real-life poker, and you have a surprisingly compelling game. This isn’t an option that will ever replace real Texas Hold’em games, but for those who just want to have a fun time and possibly make some money guessing which hands will come out on top, this is an entertaining option.
